Instagram vs Holga

Instagram does add some character to bland camera phone images. Whether that makes it worth $1 billion I'm not so sure.

Either way, there's £35 lump of 1980s plastic I'll always prefer: my Holga. It might not fit in my pocket, but there's a quality to this old boy that's hard to beat.

New Cross

A black and white edit of one of my photos from Africa this summer. This was in Uganda, one of my favourite countries we visitied, in a community-run camp on the edge of the excellently named Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Testing..

New camera, and I've gone Canon.

Sold my trusty Nikon D80 to go full frame with the Canon 5D MkII. Got a great second hand deal (thank you Gumtree). Rather excited.
